Carmignano wine is a blend of Sangiovese (80%) and Cabernet Sauvignon grape (20%). This is what we often wish Chianti would taste like. Rich, elegant, and able to stand alongside those big super Tuscans that cost too many bucks. Serve at a cool room temp in crystal glasses and don’t let anyone know it didn’t cost $50 per bottle.
