THIS QUARTER'S SELECTION
This pack includes one white wine, 3 reds (including our first Chianti), and 1 bottle each of the newest wines from Due Santi Wines: 2021 Due Santi Rosato and 2020 Due Santi Rosso.
2021 Vignobles Boudinaud Grange des Rouquette Viognier Vin de Pays d’Oc
100% Viognier

Thierry and Véronique Boudinaud have several vineyards in and around the southern Rhône Valley, and for their Grange des Rouquette label, they source fruit from just outside the appellation.
This 100% Viognier is pure and clean with tame, floral aromas. It’s a solid all-purpose white, great by itself, great with light snacks.
100% Merlot

Now, in our fourth vintage, this is the Rosato we long hoped we could produce. It is the most complete and beautifully balanced wine we have made from our Merlot plantings. This wine is one part Provence (in color and acidity) and one part Castelli Romani (for its ripeness and length on the palate). This wine is worth the wait, and more. Sadly, we only have 600 bottles for the US market. That’s a mere 50 cases to go around. Take a big position on this wine and your late summer days will be filled with joy.
60% Grenache, 40% Syrah
2018 Château Puy Servain Montravel Rouge ‘Terrement’
80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc

Chateau Puy Servain is located in the southwest of France. The estate's name, Puy-Servain, comes from the name of the locality Puy-Servain, which means ‘windy summit,’ as the vines are located on a windy peak.
Very pleasant to drink now, but easily capable of aging five to ten years. Aged 12 months in French barrels. Its flavor profile is much like St. Emilion, and it is delicious when served alongside beef, lamb, and cheeses.
2021 Tenuta Pierazzuoli Chianti Montalbano
100% Sangiovese
Our very first Chianti offer and this one sings. I have long argued that Chianti is the ultimate food wine. This particular Chianti has both fruity and floral notes with good volume and delicate mineral and fruity final sensation.
Not many things go so nicely with pizza, burgers, pasta and steak. Aren’t those the four food groups?

50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet

There are many layers of fruit and spice on this delicious red wine. Our vines have another year of maturity and really benefited from the long and perfect growing season. Our neighbors 300 meters away were blown away by this bottling. SO much so that they plan to buy some of our fruit for their very famous top wine in 2022. This is a complex and rich wine with a lot of backbone to balance out the deep plum, cedar, and hint of vanilla. While our Rosso pairs quite well with pizza, it really shines when served with grilled red meat. The Due Santi is lovely now, but would benefit with a little time in your cellar. Only 200 cases for the American market.
